  • Must have a minimum of 15 years' experience on similar projects.
  • Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Technology, or related discipline or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, certification, training, skills, knowledge, and abilities.

  • Engage on Rail Transit Capital Improvement Program with focus on planning and advanced design from conceptual to final, construction procurement and management services during construction.
  • Develop multiple projects budget and work plan, establish project priority, overseeing quality of all deliverables.
  • Solicit budgets from various team members to support the project.
  • Coordinate closely with the assigned Design Manager.
  • Conduct meetings with internal and external stakeholders and agencies.
  • Develop the Project Delivery Plan (PDP).
  • Apply for and obtain permits from various agencies.
  • Develop and coordinate right of way requirements in coordination with Real Estate staff.
  • Review, coordinate, and distribute key design phase milestone deliverables.
  • Prepare applicable Board Memos for key project approvals and other related Board communications.
  • Identify project issues and quantify the potential impacts as they evolve throughout the project life cycle and change management process.
  • Manage contractor prequalification process, when required.
  • Secure agency permitting.
  • Examine potential enhancements to the program, perform Quality Assurance audits and prepare required documentation.
  • Prepare and coordinate bid document approval.
  • Advertise bid documents, conduct pre-bid meeting, and perform bid responsiveness.
  • Coordinate and hand-off project to Construction Manager when appropriate, attend weekly meetings with contractor, monitor budget and schedule, review and approve change orders and owner-initiated changes.
  • Perform Contract Administration and support tasks.
  • Support and assist with administering local, state, and/or federal grant programs.
  • Provide periodic updates using the client's project reporting system.
