Job description

Clarity Consultants is partnering with a leading oil and gas company on an exciting training transformation initiative, and our learning team is growing.

We're seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead a team of learning and development professionals engaged in modernizing and upgrading an enterprise-wide equipment training program. In this role, you will plan, monitor, report, control scope, schedule, and close out each project for up to four projects at once, with staggered start dates but with predictable schedules and deliverables.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, subject matter experts, developers, writers, and QA/QC consultants.
  • Communicating project progress and outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Implementing quality control measures to ensure the highest standards in learning program delivery.
  • Assisting the program director in selecting designers and developers and resource load each project's schedule.

Start Date: Continuous recruitment to support ongoing needs; individual start dates will be determined based on project requirements.

Duration: 1 year with the possibility to extend

Hours: Up to 40 hours per week; hours will be determined based on project needs

Location: Virtual

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of training project management experience using either Agile, SAM, Scrum, or traditional Waterfall project management method(s) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design models, and eLearning technologies.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is highly desirable.
  • Familiar with Smartsheet is preferred but not required
  • Experience in oil & gas or a related industry such as utilities, energy, or nuclear is a must.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work exclusively on a PC throughout the project is required.
