Job description

Job Summary:

At Centrus Energy, the Training and Procedures Manager is the engine behind a culture of operational excellence, safety, and continuous learning. This role leads the design, delivery, and evolution of technical training and procedural programs that keep our workforce sharp, compliant, and mission-ready. From shaping next-generation digital training experiences to ensuring airtight document control and regulatory alignment, this leader plays a critical role in enabling safe, efficient, and compliant operations across the organization-with the authority to stop work when it matters most.
What You Will Do:

You'll lead the full lifecycle of training and procedures programs-designing and delivering NRC-compliant, performance-based training while building modern, tech-enabled learning experiences that stick. You'll oversee procedures, records management, and document control to ensure everything is accurate, auditable, and aligned with regulatory standards. Partnering across operations, engineering, and leadership, you'll translate complex requirements into practical training solutions, drive continuous improvement, and maintain a strong safety-first culture. Along the way, you'll manage the learning management system, guide your team, optimize budgets, and ensure every program is effective, efficient, and inspection-ready.

We'd Love to Hear From People With:

  • Experience developing and implementing technical training programs, ideally within a regulated or high-consequence environment
  • Working knowledge of Performance Based Training (PBT) methodologies (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation)
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as NRC, DOE, OSHA, EPA, or similar
  • Experience managing procedures programs, document control, and records management systems
  • Experience overseeing or administering a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain compliance, quality, and audit readiness in training and documentation programs
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable training
  • Experience modernizing training programs using digital tools, interactive content, or e-learning platforms
  • Background serving as a subject matter expert during regulatory inspections or license implementation
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives (CIP) and performance metrics for training effectiveness
  • Experience supporting facility modifications or operational changes through training needs analysis
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a "Q" clearance

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.
