Job description

NOTE: Maximum range is provided as an example of the wage/salary range for each position and its earning capacity given factors such as time in position, longevity with the company education level, and performance experience. Newly entering employees should expect to enter at the minimum to midrange level, and not the cap which is for employees with tenure and above level skill sets in that position.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To support the Learning & Development Department by preparing training materials, facilitating trainings, and monitoring, evaluating, and documenting training activities in the company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates and assists with a variety of employee/community partner trainings including new employee orientation, career advancement, personal development, professional development, technical skills, and credential/certificate courses as assigned. Utilizes LMS to track internal and external trainings, ensuring employees meet training requirements, providing scheduled and ad hoc reports, and analyzing training data. Gathers and documents divisional and departmental training and development process and procedures. Administers the corporate training calendar, registrations, and materials.

Regularly informs employees about training options. Works with other Training staff to identify gaps in Goodwillโ€™s training and development programs and procedures. Handles logistics for training activities, including venues and equipment. Coordinates off-site training activities for employees. Maintains internal training facilities and equipment. Drives on company business as required.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED required. Experience with instruction and/or training. Experience with a learning management system. Ability to read, write, and understand English, and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. Ability to effectively make presentations to large groups of people. PC proficiency in MS Office preferred. Must have quick and reliable transportation to drive on company business. Valid California driverโ€™s license, liability insurance, and a DMV record acceptable to Goodwillโ€™s insurance company if driving on company time.
