HR Intern – Training & Development

We are seeking a motivated and creative HR Intern to join the ECOS Team and support Human Resources with the development of employee training and learning materials. This internship will provide hands-on experience in training content development, instructional materials, video production, and employee communications within a manufacturing environment.

A key focus of this role will be creating engaging training content, including training videos, scripts, presentations, and other learning materials. The intern will work closely with HR and operations teams across ECOS to understand processes and procedures and help translate them into clear, easy-to-understand training for employees.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working both in an office environment and on the warehouse/manufacturing floor and is interested in learning how effective training supports our ECOS team, employee performance, and workplace operations.

Responsibilities Include:

Training Content Development

  • Assist with the development and updating of employee training materials.
  • Research and organize information to ensure training content is accurate and easy to understand.
  • Help convert existing procedures and information into engaging training content.
  • Assist with developing training materials for both new hire and ongoing employee training.

Training Video Development & Production

  • Develop scripts and storyboards for training videos.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating training video shoots.
  • Film training demonstrations and processes in the warehouse and other operational areas.
  • Work with employees and subject matter experts to capture accurate demonstrations of processes and procedures.
  • Assist with basic video editing, formatting, captions, and final production of training videos.
  • Help organize and maintain the company's training video library.
  • Identify opportunities to use video to improve employee understanding and retention of training.
  • Spend time in warehouse/production areas to observe processes and gather information for training materials.
  • Ensure training content reflects actual workplace procedures and expectations.
  • Assist with documenting processes through photographs, video, written instructions, and other materials.

Pay Rate: $19/HR

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Education, Instructional Design, Marketing, Media Production, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable developing and presenting information in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  •  Comfortable working with AI tools, video editing software, and other digital content creation platforms.
  • Interest or experience in creating videos, presentations, or digital content is a plus.
  • Ability to work comfortably in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Creative, curious, and willing to learn.

What You Will Gain

This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, instructional content creation, video production, and employee training within a real-world manufacturing environment.

The intern will have the opportunity to see the full training development process from identifying a training need and writing a script to filming content on the warehouse floor and helping produce the final training videos.
