WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Education Consultant specializing in Medicare IRIS reporting, you'll provide expert consultative services to proactively identify client challenges and define client strategies for enhanced efficiency, help to maximize reimbursement, and navigate compliance regulation.
WHERE YOU'LL WORK
This position will work remote in the United States.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
  • Provide expert consultation on CMS IRIS reporting, affiliate billing, state funding compliance
  • Conduct client consultations on IRIS reporting, CMS data reconciliation, and billing processes including Veteran's Affair Medical Centers
  • Mitigate reporting risks by ensuring hospital and GME practices meet national standards
  • Audit and refine trainee data, reimbursement setup, and schedules, advising hospital leadership and GME administrators on best practices
  • Present comprehensive reports, supporting documentation, consultation summaries, and action-orientated recommendations to clients for future actions
  • Serve on CGI/CMS vendor regulatory committees and collaborate with the Product team to ensure compliance with external requirements
  • Share best practices, product knowledge, and develop eLearning resources for the GME Finance market
  • Engage with client executives to evaluate and improve reporting best practices and outcomes

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Bachelor's degree AND 5+ years in IRIS and affiliate billing within GME required OR 15+ years of combined education and experience in GME IRIS and affiliate billing
  • Proficiency in eLearning development, preferably in software, engineering, or IT education
  • Strong finance and accounting expertise with a focus on critical analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of the GME market, with an emphasis on financial aspects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging executive leadership and diverse groups
  • Advanced Excel skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and deliver results in ambiguous environments
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Able to work individually or as part of a team, ability to multitask on multiple projects
  • Ability to travel up to 15% for conferences, meetings, and client site visits
