We have an exciting opportunity available for a Transportation Engineer/Project Manager in our Corporate Headquarters office in downtown Milwaukee located in The Avenue.
Transportation Engineer/Project Manager responsibilities include:
  • Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process.
  • The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
  • Project engineering and management.
  • Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management.
  • Professional society involvement.

We are considering candidates for our Transportation Engineer/Project Manager position who possess the following minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design. Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of WisDOT design and standards is highly preferred.
  • PE license in WI.
  • Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development.
  • Project Management experience with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation a plus.
  • Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage.
