Summary
The Learning & Development Manager is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and scaling of impactful learning and development programs that empower employee growth and drive business success. This role will oversee learning initiatives across onboarding, leadership and employee development, upskilling both technical and soft skills, and continuous learning. This role plays a strategic role in embedding learning into the employee experience and aligning initiatives with organizational goals.
Candidates for this position may be required to pass pre-employment and periodic screenings, including background checks, drug and alcohol tests, or other necessary assessments.
Some of the work you will do:
  • Design and execute comprehensive learning and development strategies that support business objectives and reflect the company's values and culture.
  • Assess organizational learning needs through consultation with business leaders and analysis of performance metrics.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring an intuitive user experience and accessible learning resources.
  • Design, implement, and manage onboarding, skills training programs, and leadership development, tailored to the needs of the organization, as well as each business function.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, driving initiatives that promote growth and engagement across the organization.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, people managers, and business leaders to create relevant and scalable training content.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of educational materials, including digital learning courses, in-person workshops, instructional content, and virtual training.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback and data analytics, continuously improving program design and outcomes.
  • Partner with external learning vendors and consultants to deliver specialized, cost-effective learning solutions; lead contract negotiations and vendor management.
  • Align learning initiatives with talent management, succession planning, and workforce development strategies.
  • Ensure all learning activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development or a related function.
  • Proven success in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-wide L&D programs.
  • Strong project management skills with emphasis on program design, implementation, and performance measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate learning sessions and engage diverse audiences.
  • Experience supporting a wide range of employee populations, including executive, professional services, technical, operational, and administrative teams.
  • Familiarity with best practices in buy vs. build decision-making and vendor management.
  • Expert in LMS platforms, assessments, and survey tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Skilled in using data and metrics to evaluate learning impact and inform strategy.
  • A learner-centric and inclusive mindset, with a passion for talent development and organizational growth
