Overview

Are you ready to join a growing team?

CTG is seeking to fill an Organizational Change Manager II opening for our client.

Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 12 months

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead organizational change management efforts for medium-to-large IT initiatives with moderate to significant business impact.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies and plans to support successful adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies.
  • Partner closely with project managers, program managers, executive sponsors, and business stakeholders to integrate change activities into overall project plans.
  • Conduct stakeholder analyses, change impact assessments, and organizational readiness assessments to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address resistance, improve engagement, and accelerate user adoption.
  • Coach senior leaders and managers on effective change leadership and communication practices.
  • Create and deliver executive-level presentations, PowerPoint decks, communication plans, and messaging tailored to various audiences.
  • Develop, coordinate, and manage internal communications supporting project objectives and organizational readiness.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to identify training needs and support the design and delivery of learning resources.
  • Define business readiness metrics, measure adoption and change effectiveness, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other assessment methods.
  • Develop transition and sustainability plans to reinforce long-term adoption and business value.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational risk management, regulatory requirements, and internal control standards.
  • Support additional organizational change initiatives and related responsibilities as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Manage organizational change activities across multiple concurrent IT projects and programs.
  • Serve as the primary change management liaison between project teams, business leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate change management schedules, resource requirements, and deliverables while aligning with overall project objectives.
  • Build strong partnerships across all organizational levels, from frontline employees to executive leadership.
  • Apply structured change management methodologies, tools, and best practices to drive successful business transformation.
  • Support continuous improvement of enterprise change management capabilities and organizational readiness practices.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

  • This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and guidance to project teams, business leaders, and stakeholders throughout organizational change initiatives.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading organizational change management initiatives for IT projects or enterprise transformation programs.
  • Experience partnering with project and program managers to deliver successful technology implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing change management strategies, communication plans, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Strong experience creating executive presentations and PowerPoint materials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, managers, executives, and senior leadership.
  • Experience conducting change impact assessments, readiness assessments, and stakeholder analyses.
  • Strong organizational, facilitation, and relationship management skills.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Prosci Change Management Certification, or other recognized change management certification.
  • Experience within financial services, banking, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience managing projects or programs in addition to organizational change management responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with enterprise communication strategies, learning and development processes, and organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Experience measuring change adoption, business readiness, and long-term sustainability using quantitative and qualitative metrics.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
