About this role
The L&D Specialist partners across the People Operations and Talent Management team to build and run learning programs that help employees grow, from onboarding to manager development and training. This role works closely with key stakeholders to figure out what people need to learn and build the right solutions for it. That includes:
  • Owning learning programs from planning through evaluation
  • Developing instructional content and facilitating learning experiences
  • Managing learning and performance technologies
  • Measuring what's working (and fixing what's not)

This person balances running programs well with the bigger picture as Riot's needs evolve.
This is a hybrid position based out of our Round Rock, TX office.
What you'll do
Learning Program Management
• Own assigned learning programs from planning through evaluation.
• Manage onboarding, employee development, compliance, leadership, internship, technical training, and other assigned programs.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, timelines, and communications.
• Facilitate instructor-led and virtual learning experiences.
Instructional Design
• Design and develop facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, videos, eLearning modules, and performance support resources.
• Maintain and continuously improve learning content.
Learning Consultation
• Partner with managers to identify capability gaps and recommend learning solutions aligned with business priorities.
• Conduct learning needs analyses and translate findings into development plans.
LMS & Systems
• Administer LMS including curricula, learning paths, certifications, enrollments, reporting, and data integrity.
• Recommend system improvements to improve learner experience.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
• Analyze participation, feedback, assessments, and business outcomes.
• Recommend and implement improvements to curriculum, delivery methods, and learner experience.
Project Management
• Manage multiple learning initiatives while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Develop project plans, milestones, and stakeholder communications.
Talent Management Partnership
• Partner with Talent Management to support employee development, IDPs, career growth, succession, and internal mobility.
Stakeholder Partnership
• Build trusted partnerships with managers and business leaders to identify capability needs and support organizational priorities.
What you'll bring
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 3+ years of Learning & Development, Talent Development, HR, or related experience preferred.
• Experience designing, facilitating, and evaluating learning programs.
• Experience partnering with business leaders and managing enterprise learning initiatives.
