As the Learning & Development Manager, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating high‑impact behavioral, leadership, and professional development programs that strengthen organizational capability and support a culture of continuous learning. This role leads the strategic development of learning initiatives, partners closely with business leaders to identify capability gaps, and ensures learning solutions are aligned to organizational priorities.

This position is based in the Houston, TX headquarters and requires travel for in person learning events and collaboration with regional teams and partners approximately 25%.

Your Role at a Glance

Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute the L&D strategy for behavioral learning and leadership programs aligned to organizational needs.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify leadership capability gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to HR, Talent Management, and business leaders on leadership development best practices.

Program Design & Delivery

  • Design, deliver, and facilitate engaging learning experiences, including in person workshops, virtual sessions, blended learning paths, and leadership programs.
  • Curate relevant external content and integrate high quality behavioral and leadership resources into development pathways.
  • Manage execution of signature leadership programs for North America (e.g., manager development, coaching programs).
  • Create tools, guides, and job aids to reinforce learning and drive behavior change.

Performance & Talent Enablement

  • Partner with HRBPs and Talent Management to embed learning into the talent lifecycle (onboarding, performance, succession).
  • Recommend coaching, mentoring, and experiential learning solutions to accelerate growth.
  • Support change management initiatives by designing learning solutions that strengthen adoption and capability.

Learning Operations & Governance

  • Oversee one direct report responsible for: LMS administration and optimization, instructional design and content development, data, compliance, and audit accuracy, and learning reporting and analytics
  • Ensure learning programs meet quality, compliance, and documentation requirements.
  • Define metrics and track effectiveness of learning programs, presenting insights and recommendations to leadership.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Build strong relationships with department leaders to understand business priorities and recommend targeted learning solutions.
  • Communicate learning offerings through engaging campaigns and internal channels.
  • Manage external vendors and consultants as needed to supplement content or facilitation capabilities.

What Sets You Apart

We’re looking for individuals who bring the right mix of experience, mindset, and motivation:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Certifications in leadership development tools, methodologies, and courses (e.g., Crucial Conversations, MBTI, DiSC, Situational Leadership) highly preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Talent Management.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating leadership and learning programs.
  • Experience with instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Experience with LMS platforms, blended learning solutions, and digital learning tools.
  • Familiarity with coaching methodologies or formal coaching certification
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to partner with senior leaders and influence decision-making.
  • Ability to analyze learning data and measure impact.
  • English language required, Spanish, French or Portuguese as a second language is a plus.
