This position is responsible for assisting with the administration and execution of the overall leadership and professional development strategy for the organization based on recommendations, corporate strategy, and organizational needs. This role is responsible for the design, development, and facilitation of leadership and professional development curriculum, internal reference resources, and web/computer-based training resources.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related experience. Certification in assessment tools and facilitation methods a plus (e.g., DiSC, StrengthsFinder, DDI).

Experience: Minimum Eight (8) years facilitation experience, including at least five (5) years focused on designing and delivering leadership and professional development for emerging to senior level leaders. Experience facilitating content from leading leadership frameworks a plus (e.g., The Leadership Challenge, Emotional Intelligence, etc.). Familiarity with leadership assessment tools and curriculum development. Experience managing a wide range of learning and development projects and programs at a time.

Travel: Up to 25%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assesses, designs, facilitates, and evaluates engaging and effective leadership-oriented programming, resources, materials, and interventions for different audiences and learning formats to improve leadership effectiveness.
  • Designs and develops L&D processes and organizational development tools as necessary.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert and advises and consults with leaders on development opportunities and training for members of their team.
  • Partners with other Talent members to plan, develop, and evaluate team member development programs and events at all levels.
  • Develops internal and external alliances and partnerships with training providers.
  • Assists in the development of instructional material; helps lead internal clients through needs analysis, design, development, and implementation phases of curriculum/resource development.
  • Establishes and maintains a comprehensive leadership & professional development training library; assists in the development and implementation of new training programs; and ensures the quality of facilitation and delivery.
  • Participates in professional and trade-related organizations (i.e. ATD, SHRM, etc.) to stay current in training and development trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and incorporates them into leadership development programming and resources; shares this knowledge with others.
  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of development programs through various measurement methods and metrics to make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manages multiple projects at one time associated with leadership development initiatives based on strategic priorities.
  • Chairs, participates in, and/or coordinates L&PD related task forces, committees, and process development teams; develops and submits Learning and/or organizational development recommendations/proposals to Leadership & Professional Development Program Director, Senior Vice President of Talent, and/or executive team, as appropriate.
  • Creates a supportive environment that allows mistakes but not failure (motivates and instructs; shares positive and negative feedback in a constructive manner).
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
