Job description

Senior Lead Visual Designer
About the Role
Hinge Health is growing our team of passionate creatives on a mission to get every body moving. The Senior Lead Visual Designer on the Brand, Creative & Content Growth Creative team at Hinge Health will lead the visual strategy and design execution for our growth marketing efforts, driving member enrollment through high-impact, memorable brand experiences.
You will lead design strategy & execution on how the Hinge Health brand shows up across the full member journey. You will shape visual systems and campaign concepts that translate complex clinical, behavioral, and product value propositions into clear, compelling experiences that build trust and motivate action. You will also play a central role in bringing new products, programs, and member experiences to market. From 0→1 launches to scaled rollouts, you will help define how new offerings are introduced across enrollment and engagement touchpoints.
As a Senior Lead, you will mentor other designers, raise the quality bar across the team, and drive creative innovation. You will help the team balance craft, speed, and business impact in a fast-paced, agile environment. You're a strong, clear communicator and a natural problem solver providing a critical eye to the level of detail, polish, craft, and consistency to build awareness of the Hinge Health brand and product benefits in engaging and novel ways.
What You'll Accomplish
  • Own the design vision for growth marketing initiatives: translating complex clinical and product value propositions into compelling visual narratives that drive enrollment.
  • Bring new products to market: Launch new member offerings and experiences, building creative systems and campaign assets that introduce new value clearly and effectively.
  • Design integrated campaigns across channels. Lead visual development for integrated campaigns to creative cohesive experiences that move members from awareness to action.
  • Define the end-to-end member journey. Shape how the Hinge Health brand appears across key touchpoints in the member lifecycle, ensuring experiences are not only visually strong, but also consistent, intuitive, and impactful.
  • Scale and evolve design systems. Architect and maintain robust, scalable design libraries, templates, and components that enable the team to move quickly while maintaining a high bar for consistency and craft.
  • Mentor and raise the bar. Guide and develop visual designers through feedback, coaching, and example-setting, while establishing a clear standard for what category-leading creative looks like at Hinge Health.
How You'll Do It
  • Elevate and unify the Hinge Health brand across B2C channels through design, experimentation, and insights, positioning us as a top-tier brand and market leader.
  • Use system-level thinking to codify brand expression in scalable, component-based systems that support an AI-forward creative future.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, balancing high-quality craft with speed, iteration, and evolving business priorities.
  • Lead 0→1 initiatives from ambiguity to launch, bringing clarity to the strategy, visual direction, and execution required to introduce new products and programs to market.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Growth Marketing, Product, Content Strategy, Creative Operations, and leadership to align creative work to business goals and launch priorities.
  • Translate insights into action by using performance data, member behavior, and experimentation learnings to refine concepts and inform future creative strategy.
  • Present work with clarity and conviction, articulating creative rationale, tradeoffs, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Create the conditions for team excellence through mentorship, thoughtful feedback, and operational rigor that helps others do their best work.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of visual design experience in brand, growth marketing, integrated campaign, or related creative environments
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual design work across digital channels such as web, email, paid media, landing pages, direct mail, and brand storytelling
  • Experience leading visual strategy and execution for integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, or member-facing go-to-market initiatives
  • Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with experience building or evolving design systems, templates, and component libraries
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with marketing, product, and content stakeholders and using performance data or experimentation results to inform creative decisions
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 - 8+ years of professional design experience, with at least 2 years spent operating in a leadership, art direction, or senior mentorship capacity
  • Experience in healthcare, digital health, and/or consumer subscription
  • Experience designing for B2C or B2B2C member journeys
  • Experience leading design teams and raising design standards through critique, process improvement, and creative direction
  • Comfort operating in agile, sprint-based, or experimentation-heavy environments with multiple concurrent workstreams
