Fashion Design Remote Internships are opportunities for students or aspiring fashion professionals to gain practical experience in the fashion industry while working remotely. Interns typically assist with tasks such as trend research, digital design, mood board creation, and virtual meetings with design teams. These internships allow participants to develop relevant skills, build portfolios, and network with industry professionals from anywhere in the world. They are especially beneficial for those who cannot relocate but still want to gain valuable industry experience. Many fashion brands and companies now offer remote internships due to the flexibility and accessibility they provide.

Your daily tasks may also involve helping with virtual fittings, compiling fabric and trim options, and communicating with team members through online platforms. • Conduct wear trials and fit evaluations across different body types and sizes.
  • Perform competitor product analysis and market research to identify product opportunities and trends.
  • Monitor fashion, activewear, e-commerce, and social commerce trends, including TikTok Shop.
  • Coordinate samples and collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and production partners.
  • Support product launches and provide design input for live product presentations and social commerce initiatives.

  • 2+ years of hands-on apparel design and product development experience, with activewear, athleisure, performance apparel, or similar categories strongly preferred.
  • Direct experience designing and developing apparel for established fashion retailers, apparel brands, department stores, specialty retailers, or large-scale consumer brands.
  • Strong technical understanding of fabrics, fit blocks, garment construction, grading, sizing, and product development.
  • Experience participating in fit sessions, wear trials, and product evaluations.
  • Ability to translate concepts into commercially viable apparel products.
  • Strong understanding of the apparel product development lifecycle from concept through production.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce, social commerce, and fashion trends is a plus.
  • Freelance, contract, or consulting experience is welcome.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant apparel design and technical development work is required.

Work Arrangement
  • Part-time, up to 20 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule based on project and business needs
