The opportunity

Step into a role where process excellence meets real-world impact. As a Process Engineering Leader at Hitachi Energy, you will help shape how our operations perform every day-improving flow, boosting efficiency, and strengthening safety and quality across production environments. This is an opportunity to influence multiple functions, collaborate with thoughtful teams, and translate engineering principles into practical, highvalue outcomes.

You will work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and other partners to analyze operations, design better processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies. From leading Kaizen events to supporting capital and costout projects, this role offers the space to apply experience, mentor others, and make meaningful change in a complex manufacturing setting. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How you'll make an impact
  • Monitor production flow, equipment use, and area layout.
  • Evaluate and improve operational efficiency using Lean tools.
  • Attend and lead Kaizen and continuous improvement events.
  • Create and update Work Instructions and Standard Work.
  • Identify and deliver CAPEX and costout initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison across production, quality, maintenance, ITM, and procurement.
  • Solve problems with urgency while maintaining HSE and quality compliance.

  • Transformer manufacturing experience is an advantage.
