The RMS team in Manassas is looking for a Signal Processing Systems Engineer.

Develops requirements analysis, sub-system architectures, and integrates new signal and image processing technology systems.

Designs, develops and analyzes systems and algorithms for the extraction of information from signal and image sensors. Technologies applied include: remote sensing; detection and estimation theories; morphological processing; speech processing; neural networks; electromagnetic and acoustic effects on signals; and implementation of signal processing with advanced computer architectures. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience Experience in Signal Processing Experience researching and prototyping algorithms in MATLAB or similar tool Experience with system analysis and requirements decomposition - requirements verification Experience with Test Method definition and Test Procedure development Desired Skills Experience with Beamforming, Radar/Sonar, Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Acoustics Experience with DOORS Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering - SysML - MagicDraw Experience with Linux Experience with programming - C/C++, Java, Python Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $91200.00 - $169400.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
