  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: Industrial, Pulp and Paper, Electrical or Mechanical or Chemical 
  • 2+ years manufacturing experience 
  • 7+ years of relevant experience required for consideration in senior level role

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes including Lean and Six Sigma 

TheProcess Engineer will serve as a technical lead in the development and continuous improvement of the manufacturing process. Key focus areas include safety, quality, cost, yield, waste, and process reliability. More senior process engineering candidates will also be expected to provide engineering leadership to operations and to participate in the skill development of less senior process engineers and operating personnel. Develop and implement process improvements, monitor process capability, and conduct product performance assessments using statistical analysis and process optimization tools and methodologies 

  • Lead Root Cause Analysis activities to solve technical, quality, or safety concerns 
  • Improve manufacturing capacity and cost 
  • Develop and implement production trials to resolve challenges and improve finished product characteristics 
  • Work with operators and process technicians to develop, improve and monitor key processes and procedures 
  • Assist in writing standard work documents, job aids, and operator training programs 
  • Work cross functionally to assist with the planning, installation, start-up and performance validation of new equipment as well as maintain existing equipment 
  • Senior level candidates should be considered an expert in some or all of these areas and be able to translate these results into major improvements and/or capital projects
