Job description

Job Requirements
The Lead Integration Specialist is responsible for the design, configuration, and operation of complete Temperature Control building control systems, and other low voltage control sub-systems to meet the intent of the project requirements. Leads and trains an assigned team, with accountability to the Service Operations Manager, project manager and engineering teams for quality, timeliness, and efficiency of designs.
Work Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology preferred.
  • At least twelve (12) years of experience with mechanical and/or electrical engineering systems and/or holding a Team Lead position.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, specifications and submittal information required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction or HVAC industry, control theory, automatic temperature controls, fire alarms, building automation systems and other building subsystems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the integration of low voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols (i.e. LON, BacNet, etc).
  • Knowledge of HVAC&R theory, solid mechanical, electrical troubleshooting, and repair skills a plus.
  • Be highly motivated and an independent thinker.
  • Ability to mentor, coach and train all levels of Integration Specialists.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast pace setting and adapt/be flexible in a changing environment.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld devices, such as Smartphones, iPads, etc.
  • The ability to communicate with customers and coworkers regarding inspection and service findings is required.
