Application integration is the process of connecting different software applications and systems within an organization to enable them to work together seamlessly. This allows data and processes to flow between applications, reducing data silos and improving efficiency. Integration can be achieved using middleware, APIs, or specialized integration platforms, and is essential for businesses that rely on multiple software solutions. Effective application integration can enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support better decision-making.
