Description

Position Overview:

Detroit Defense is seeking an experienced Application Integration Engineer to support application integration efforts for Navy submarine platforms. This role requires hands-on expertise with PEO C4I integration processes, feasibility assessments, and the ability to navigate complex DoD cyber requirements as they relate to shipboard systems.


Key Responsibilities:

Support application integration processes for Navy submarine platforms in accordance with PEO C4I standards and requirements

Conduct feasibility assessments for proposed system integrations, identifying technical risks and recommending solutions

Identify and resolve integration challenges across submarine shipboard systems

Analyze and address the impacts of DoD cyber requirements on shipboard systems and integration efforts

Maintain configuration data and integration records within CMPro

Coordinate with program stakeholders, system engineers, and cyber teams to ensure successful application integration

Support development and review of interface documentation, integration plans, and technical reports

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Minimum two (2) years of experience with application integration processes in support of Navy submarine platforms

Active Security Clearance required

Experience with PEO C4I application integration processes in support of submarines

Experience conducting feasibility assessments and resolving integration challenges

Familiarity with the impacts of DoD cyber requirements on shipboard systems

Proficiency with CMPro


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working within a DoD contractor or program office environment supporting submarine programs

Familiarity with NAVWAR or PEO C4I program structures and processes

Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and its application to shipboard systems

CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 certification
