Job Description-:  

As always with this client the Candidates will need to have a background in finance.  Also critical they have excellent English speaking skills, their clients are bankers.  Also “pedigree” is critical.  This translates to no “job hoppers”.

Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and support new vendor integrations using our client’s standard connectivity services.
• Apply software quality best practices to ensure the reliability and testability of integrations.
• Define and maintain repeatable standards and templates for vendor connections to streamline future 
implementations.
• Review functional and technical documentation to identify integration requirements.
• Conduct test case reviews to ensure scenarios accurately reflect business functionality.
• Lead end-to-end quality assurance efforts for integrations.
• Participate in vendor calls to support scoping, troubleshooting, and technical discussions.
• Drive increased code and test coverage across integration projects.
• Identify and resolve defects during QA, production, and post-release phases.
• Collaborate with other engineers to address defects, performance issues, and reliability concerns.
• Follow Agile methodologies to plan, design, test, and implement deliverables.


Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs for communication between distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies, especially SAML and OIDC.
• Web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX).
• Familiarity with Java and Ruby.
• Basic Unix command-line skills.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn complex systems quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to take ownership and make independent decisions.
