Signature Healthcare at Home is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Intake Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a full-time, in-office role based out of our Federal Way office and one Hybrid day at our Port Orchard Office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversees the daily work of Intake Coordinator(s), to include the daily patient intake process
2. Directs all daily patient referral and intake operations consistent with CMS guidelines
3. Documents communication with patient and providers within the EMR
4. Learns, adapts, and implements to new processes as needed
5. Audits and monitors referral documents for accuracy and completion
6. Completes pre-authorizations and insurance eligibility checks as required
7. Gathers, tracks, and maintains comprehensive working knowledge of community resources in collaboration with other team members
8. Adheres to HIPAA regulations per Company policy and Federal regulations
9. Consistently represents Signature Healthcare at Home with integrity and professionalism providing excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
10. Assists in identifying opportunities for additional/improved services and methods
11. Performs other duties and activities as delegated by the Operations Manager or Administrator/Clinical Manager

Qualifications/Skillsets:
1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. Minimum two years' experience in administrative position in healthcare setting
3. Knowledge of medical terminology
4. Knowledge of insurance reimbursement process
5. Effective data entry, problem-solving, human relations and oral/written communication skills
6. Demonstrates good communications, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities
7. Possess a valid driver's license and insurance in accordance with state and/or organization requirements
8. Basic computer skills and knowledge of office technology
9. Experience with HCHB preferred
Schedule
  • Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • In-office role reporting to Federal Way office and one Hybrid day at our Port Orchard Office
