Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) - MLTC
Compensation
Salary Range: $100,000 โ€“ $120,000+ per year
Location: Brooklyn, NY

Position Summary
As a Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) within a large MLTC organization, you will support clinical staff by identifying learning and development needs, delivering targeted education programs, and ensuring competency across teams. This role focuses on strengthening clinical practice, improving quality of care, and supporting staff through onboarding and ongoing professional development. You will collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift
  • Shift details: Day shift (may require flexibility)
  • Hours per week: 40
Key Duties:
  • Assess learning needs of clinical staff through data collection methods (questionnaires, chart reviews, focus groups) and recommend education programs
  • Provide orientation and onboarding support, including competency assessments and transition guidance for new hires
  • Evaluate staff performance through field visits, documentation review, and provide feedback to Clinical Leadership
  • Develop, implement, and update educational modules, policies, procedures, and in-service training programs
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with MLTC, DOH, Medicare, and Medicaid standards
Requirements
Education
  • Required: Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Nursing
  • Preferred: Masterโ€™s Degree
Licenses & Certifications
  • Required: Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of MLTC, home care standards, UAS-NY, Medicare and Medicaid regulations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Ability to develop and implement training programs and performance improvement strategies
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities
