Job Description Lead Electrical Engineer - Science & Technology Projects Minneapolis, MN | Make Your Mark on Buildings That Matter Ready to lead cutting-edge electrical designs and mentor a team of engineers doing meaningful work. We're seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer who is passionate about building systems and wants to shape impactful, technically excellent projects - from concept through construction. What You'll Do You'll be the technical lead on innovative Science & Technology projects - setting the tone for design quality, mentoring engineers, and collaborating closely with Project Managers and architects to deliver elegant, efficient electrical solutions.

This role blends deep design work with the opportunity to elevate technical standards across the company. Lead electrical design across lighting, power, and technology systems. Coordinate with PMs on project scope, schedule, and budget.

Shape design direction with multiple options and client-ready analysis. Resolve code challenges and lead construction phase coordination. Guide, review, and mentor a team of junior and mid-level designers.

Advance internal standards, tools, and best practices in your area of expertise. Act as the go-to expert in one or more core areas (lighting, power distribution, low-voltage, etc.). What You Bring 6+ years of building electrical systems experience Passion for client focus Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD Clear communication and team leadership skills Preferred: PE license (or interested in obtaining) Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Why Our Client
