Position Overview
Universal Language Service, Inc. is seeking a bilingual Language Access Specialist โ€“ Vietnamese to join our team in a W-2 employee role that integrates scheduling and outreach operations with client support and language services.
In this role, you will support coordination of services, communicate with clients, and contribute to consistent, high-quality service delivery across healthcare and public sector environments.
This is a stable opportunity with consistent work, performance-based earnings, and long-term career growth into operations and leadership roles.
Work Location Requirements
  • Work is performed at the Bellevue, WA corporate office or additional locations across King, Pierce, or Snohomish Counties
  • Work schedule is based on operational needs
  • Typical schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM
  • Additional scheduling options include 24/7 coverage, evenings, weekends, and part-time opportunities
  • Work from home / remote work is not permitted for this position
Employment amp; Compensation
  • Employment Type: W-2 Employee (not contractor)
  • Schedule: Full-Time and Part-Time Available
  • Base Pay: $23.00 โ€“ $25.00 per hour + bonuses
Performance Bonuses (Monthly Earnings Upside)
In addition to hourly pay, earn performance-based bonuses tied to reliability, scheduling contribution, and client support:
  • Reliability amp; Attendance: $250 โ€“ $500/month
  • Fill Rate amp; Scheduling Contribution: $250 โ€“ $550/month
  • Utilization amp; Productivity: $300 โ€“ $700/month
  • Client Engagement amp; Support Activities: $150 โ€“ $350/month
  • High-Demand Coverage: $30 โ€“ $80 per priority assignment
Total Bonus Potential: $1,000 โ€“ $2,100+ per month
Key Responsibilities
Operations amp; Scheduling
  • Support scheduling and coordination of services to ensure full coverage
  • Confirm availability and help reduce unfilled assignments
  • Assist with onboarding coordination and readiness
  • Contribute to achieving operational performance targets
Client Support amp; Outreach
  • Conduct outbound calls and emails (appointment reminders, confirmations, follow-ups)
  • Provide administrative and coordination support
  • Maintain professional communication and resolve service issues as needed
Language Access Support
  • Provide Vietnamese language support across in-person, phone (OPI), and video (VRI) settings as part of service delivery
Performance Contribution
  • Maintain high reliability and participation in assignments
  • Support performance goals and reduce service gaps
  • Contribute to overall operational efficiency
Qualifications
  • Fluent in English and Vietnamese
  • Experience in interpreting, healthcare support, or customer-facing roles preferred
  • Active DSHS Medical Interpreter Recognition and/or national certification is required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with scheduling systems and communication platforms
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
