Job description

ALM Commercial Landscaping is searching for a Landscape Account Manager for our Decatur office to serve as a liaison between our customers and our operations teams. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position will be the main point of contact for our customers, will routinely check job sites, communicate about project timelines and progress, and work to resolve any problems quickly. The Account Manager will also sell in enhancements, renew ongoing contracts, work on budgets, and assist in resolving any past due invoicing. To ensure operational efficiencies, this role will walk through and inspect job sites with crew leaders and members and may participate in hands on work. They will also set project timelines and schedules of the crews and monitor the performance on job site.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position that comes with a company car. Compensation is salary plus bonus amp; commission.
Responsibilities
  • Serves as liaison between crew and customer and customer and company management
  • Proactively builds relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction with current services as well as to generate opportunities for expansion of services
  • Continuously updates customer database
  • Handles all requests, problems and/or questions and ensure resolution to such
  • Completes orders for job materials, ensures work is scheduled and completed, and performs follow up with customers
  • Meets with Crew Leaders to ensure crews are working within budgeted hours and address any properties that need specific attention
  • Completes routine site visits and schedules inspections
  • Provides onsite training for employees needing additional support understanding their positions
Qualifications
  • Must have 2+ years of customer service and management experience
  • Experience working directly in landscaping business (mowing, trimming, pruning, irrigation, etc) is ideal
  • Valid Driverโ€™s License with clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills
  • Enjoys multi-tasking and possesses strong organizational skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and walk 10+ miles a day
