Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable, client-focused Plant Health Care & Landscape Account Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong horticultural expertise, a passion for plant and turf health, and proven sales experience in the landscape industry.

You will be responsible for managing and growing maintenance accounts, selling small-scale enhancement projects, and expanding our Plant Health Care and detailed maintenance services. Additionally, you’ll serve as a bridge between our design-build and maintenance teams—meeting with clients post-construction to promote ongoing care and service.

 Key Responsibilities:Horticultural & Plant Health Care Expertise
  • Assess and recommend treatments for plant health, pest/disease issues, fertilization, and turf care.

  • Develop customized Plant Health Care programs for residential and commercial properties.

  • Train crews and educate clients on best practices in landscape and plant maintenance.

Hardscape & Enhancements Knowledge
  • Identify and sell small enhancement projects such as patio additions, outdoor kitchens, and hardscape repairs.

  • Prepare and present proposals to clients, ensuring projects align with their goals and budgets.

Sales & Account Management
  • Manage a portfolio of maintenance clients, ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Sell recurring maintenance contracts and seasonal services.

  • Meet annual sales goals between $850K–$1M, including maintenance contracts and enhancements.

  • Upsell maintenance to design-build clients post-installation.

Administrative & Software Skills
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, and reports using Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Aspire Landscape Business Management Software experience a plus (training available).

  • CAD or rendering software experience is a bonus but not required.

 Qualifications:
  • Strong background in horticulture, turf care, and plant health care.

  • Experience in landscape sales or account management.

  • Ability to identify pests, diseases, and treatment strategies.

  • Familiarity with hardscape features and enhancement opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Aspire or similar landscape software experience preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
