POSITION SUMMARY

Performs various functions including receiving, delivering materials to/from the production area, scrap material moves, and misc. supply moves, using a forklift safely and efficiently.

Hours: M-F, 5:00 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform forklift inspections and report any issues.
  • Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated areas.
  • Knowledgeable of handling procedures for all materials to prevent accidents.
  • Pulls and stages material needed for production.
  • Responsible for using a scanner and/or computer system
  • Responsible for quality control – no damage to raw material or product being transported
  • Follows all procedures including but not limited to work instructions, standard operating procedures, material specifications, and job safety analysis

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Forklift certification required (training provided)
  • Previous experience on a forklift

The target hourly range is $19.50 - $21.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; paid time off and paid holidays; 401(k) retirement plan and employee stock ownership plan.
