Our work spans three divisions—commercial playgrounds, splash pads and shade structures—each with a shared goal to create engaging, inclusive and inspiring outdoor spaces. While headquartered in Delano, Minn., our shade division—SkyWays® by Landscape Structures—is based in Dallas, Texas, where the team supports our playground business as well as designs and manufactures industry-leading shade solutions.

SkyWays shade structures do more than protect, they define and elevate the spaces they serve. Engineered to withstand extreme heat and harmful UV rays, our innovative products can cool outdoor environments by up to 30 degrees. POSITION SUMMARY

The essence of the painter’s role is to paint all items going through the powder coat booth, while keeping a high-quality standard.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Able to stand and paint all parts for extended times throughout shift.
  • Ability to recognize our paint color extensions.
  • Good working knowledge of powder coat application.
  • Able to operate all functions of the Nordson paint booth.

ATTRIBUTES

  • Keep up in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate ideas and issues in a timely manner.
  • Keep up with LSI’s high-quality standards.
  • Work in a team orientated manner.
  • Change a color in one minute and 20 seconds.
  • Paint manually at 10 feet per minute.
  • Maintain 5S in department.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous powder coat experience needed.
  • High School Degree or GED preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to read prints.
