You will assess property needs, calculate labor and material requirements, develop recurring maintenance proposals, and identify enhancement opportunities across commercial and high-end residential properties.

The ideal candidate understands how landscape maintenance work is performed in the field and can translate that knowledge into accurate, executable estimates.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Conduct property walkthroughs, site measurements, quality assessments, and quantity takeoffs.
  • Develop accurate estimates and proposals for recurring landscape maintenance contracts.
  • Calculate labor hours, production rates, equipment needs, materials, and service frequencies.
  • Estimate seasonal enhancements, turf renovations, plant health care, fertilization, irrigation repairs, and snow and ice services.
  • Identify opportunities to improve properties and expand existing client relationships.
  • Present recommendations and service solutions to commercial property managers and residential clients.
  • Support contract renewals, annual pricing updates, and proposal revisions.
  • Collaborate with account managers, operations leaders, and field teams to ensure estimates can be executed successfully.
  • Maintain current estimating data, production rates, service pricing, and proposal records.
  • Assist with property planning and preparation for seasonal maintenance and snow operations.
  • Participate in snow operations as needed during weather events.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance estimating, account management, operations, or a closely related role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial or high-end residential landscape maintenance.
  • Experience estimating recurring maintenance contracts, seasonal services, and property enhancements.
  • Understanding of horticulture, turf care, plant health, irrigation, pruning, fertilization, and seasonal service requirements.
  • Ability to calculate labor, equipment, material, and production requirements.
  • Experience conducting site evaluations, measurements, and property walkthroughs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with commercial property managers and residential clients.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly throughout the local service area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience estimating snow and ice management services.
  • Experience using Aspire or a similar landscape operations and estimating platform.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu, Land F/X, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, or proposal-management software.
  • Associate degree in Horticulture, Turfgrass Management, Landscape Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Previous field or operational experience within the landscaping industry.

Work Location and Travel

  • This position reports to the Curti Group office in Valley Cottage, New York.
  • Regular local travel to client properties and project sites is required.
  • The primary service area includes Rockland County, Orange County, Bergen County, and portions of Fairfield County.
  • Overnight travel is not typically required.
  • This is a year-round position.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary of $70,000–$95,000+ per year, based on experience.
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Weekly pay.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • Health Savings Account options.
  • Life and disability coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
