Job Summary:

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on, detail-oriented Landscape Maintenance Manager to oversee our landscape maintenance crews and ensure top-quality service to our residential and commercial clients. We are looking for a team player who can manage schedules, communicate with clients, train and support crew members, and help the business operate smoothly day-to-day.

The ideal candidate would have good interpersonal skills, know what great landscape maintenance looks like, have a good knowledge of plants, maintenance equipment, customer management and would be able to inspire others to do a great job.

As a small team we need someone who is willing to get their hands dirty and step in to help when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate daily maintenance routes for crews

  • Supervise and support maintenance crews on-site as needed

  • Train new crew members on maintenance best practices and safety protocols

  • Perform quality control checks to ensure work meets company standards

  • Communicate with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction and address concerns

  • Monitor equipment and vehicle condition; report maintenance needs

  • Manage materials and supply inventory for maintenance jobs

  • Assist with estimates and proposals for new maintenance contracts

  • Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently

  • Report job progress, issues, and crew performance to management

  • Upselling - improvements or other services to existing customers

  • Estimating - evaluate and bid services for new properties

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role

  • Strong knowledge of turf care, pruning, seasonal plant maintenance, irrigation, and pest management

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Comfortable using smartphones/tablets for schedules and reports

Qualifications:

  • Landscape Industry Certified (LIC), pesticide applicator license, or other industry certifications

  • Experience with HOA or commercial maintenance accounts
