Job description

We are currently hiring a Landscape Maintenance Driver who is responsible for driving landscape maintenance vehicles with trailer transporting tools, equipment, and team members to and from work sites. In addition to driving, the role requires performing various landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and general yard care. This position ensures that properties maintain a well-kept, attractive appearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and Operate Vehicles: Safely operate a landscape maintenance truck with trailer to transport workers, tools, and equipment to various job sites.

  • Landscape Maintenance: Perform routine landscape tasks, including mowing lawns, edging, trimming shrubs and trees, weeding flower beds, and concrete edging.

  • Equipment Operation: Use and maintain equipment such as lawnmowers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, and other landscape tools.

  • Site Clean-Up: Collect and dispose of yard waste, leaves, and other debris in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Inventory Management: Ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are on the vehicle and in good working condition; report any issues with equipment to supervisors.

  • Customer Service: Maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients by providing quality service and responding to requests or concerns.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and protocols while operating vehicles and using landscaping equipment.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License: A clean driving record and the ability to operate a company vehicle.

  • Experience: Previous experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or a related field is often preferred but may not be required.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
