What is a labor pool?

Labor pool jobs refer to temporary or on-call positions where workers are hired as needed to fill short-term labor demands. These jobs often involve manual work in industries like construction, warehousing, manufacturing, or event setup. Workers in a labor pool may not have guaranteed hours and are usually called in based on the employer's immediate needs. This type of employment offers flexibility but may lack long-term job security or benefits. Labor pool positions are a good fit for individuals looking for flexible schedules or supplemental income.

The work environment is usually fast-paced and can change frequently depending on the employer's needs. Flexibility and adaptability are important, as you may work on different teams and schedules from week to week.
