Lab Technician โ€“ Covington, GA (On-Site)

Location: 8195 Industrial Blvd., Covington, GA 30014
Duration: 6 Months
โฐ Shift: Mondayโ€“Friday, 9:00 AM โ€“ 6:00 PM (On-Site)

Job Summary (Short Form)

The Lab Technician supports Quality and Project Teams by performing product testing, complaint investigations, and laboratory analysis in compliance with GMP/GLP standards. This role includes operating lab equipment, documenting results, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining accurate data within systems like Track wise.

Key Responsibilities

Perform product testing and complaint investigations.

Operate, set up, and maintain laboratory equipment.

Conduct tests following GMP, GLP, ISO, and FDA guidelines.

Create and manage investigation files in Track wise.

Analyze data and present findings when needed.

Maintain lab safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards.

Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

Technical or Associate degree in a science field preferred.

1โ€“3 years' experience in a regulated industry (internships acceptable).

Prior laboratory experience desirable.

Strong understanding of lab instrumentation, GMP/GLP, ISO, and FDA guidelines.

Proficient with MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup).

Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

Ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures.

Ability to work in a biohazard environment and lift up to 25 lbs.
