Position Information
Operating Title Nursing - Health Science Simulation Lab Assitant Summary of Position
University of New Hampshire Nursing is currently seeking skilled and team oriented applicants to work in either the Fundamental Skills Lab and or in the Health Sciences Simulation Center.
Candidates will join a collaborative and caring faculty and staff committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Under the direction of the nursing faculty, this position performs duties in the lab to support a range of simulation learning experiences for nursing students. Flexible hours and a variety of shifts are available. 
Duties may include:
  • Work with students during their assignment/s in the lab.
  • Evaluate students' assignments
  • Assist with laboratory needs including setup and cleanup for lab learning activities, manage lab supplies and provide overall student and faculty lab support.
  • Assist with the facilitation, implementation, and evaluation of simulation activities and educational materials for nursing courses in collaboration with nursing faculty
  •  Collaborate with faculty to provide consistent and relevant student learning experiences to meet the course objectives

Required Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  2. Organizational skills and the ability to follow directions
  3. Demonstrated interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency, universal accessibility, and/or diversity.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with orienting/precepting/teaching in the clinical setting.
