What you'll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

KPI Performance Management

  • Develop andย maintainย standardized KPIs aligned with operational goalsย 
  • Build and manage dashboards toย monitorย daily, weekly, and monthly performanceย 
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and visibility across systemsย 
  • Analyze trends and performance gaps to support decision-makingย 
  • Partner with operations teams to review KPI results and corrective actionsย 

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect,ย validate, and interpret large data sets from multiple sources (SAP, WMS, etc.)ย 
  • Prepare reports and visualizations for leadershipย andย frontlineย teamsย 
  • Translate data into actionable insights to improve performanceย 
  • Support forecasting and capacity analysis through data modelingย 
  • Identifyย root causes of inefficiencies using data-driven methodsย 

Continuous Improvement Execution

  • Participate in andย facilitateย Lean / continuous improvement initiatives acrossย logisticsย operationsย 
  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions (e.g., root cause analysis, 5 Whys, Kaizen events)ย 
  • Track improvement actionsย and verify completionย 
  • Standardize processes and implement best practicesย 
  • Contribute toย waste reduction, cost optimization, and process efficiencyย 

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, production control, and IT teamsย 
  • Align KPI definitions and reporting standards across departmentsย 
  • Support change management initiatives tied to process improvementsย 
  • Communicate performance insights and recommendations to leadershipย 

Governance & StandardizationSupport

  • Maintain documentation forย KPIs, processes, and improvement actionsย 
  • Support establishedย KPIย governance and reporting cadencesย 
  • Ensure adherence to company standards and proceduresย 
  • Provide data and documentation for audits and performance reviewsย ย 

Lean & Problem-Solving Skills

  • Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to improve process capability and reduce wasteย 
  • Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective action developmentย 
  • Validate improvement results and ensure sustainabilityย 
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferredย 

Performance Management & Visual Systems

  • Supportย PDCAย cycles within improvement initiativesย 
  • Contribute to daily/weekly/monthly performance routinesย 
  • Maintain visual management tools andย Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP)ย aligned dashboardsย 
  • Help ensure clear metric ownership and escalation pathsย 

Location & Travel Expectations:

  • This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Blythewood, South Carolina
  • This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.ย 
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the companyย from time to time.

  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain,ย logistics, industrial engineering, or a related field withย handsonย work inย KPIย development, data analysis, and continuous improvement.ย 
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.ย Master'sdegree is a plus.An equivalent amount of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.ย 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsย 
  • Experience with KPI tracking, dashboards, and performance reportingย 
  • Proficiencyย in data tools (Excel advanced, Power BI/Tableau preferred)ย 
  • Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologiesย 
  • Strong communicationย skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teamsย 
  • Experience inย logistics, manufacturing, or warehouse operations preferredย 
  • Formal training or certification inย Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred)ย ย 
  • Strong knowledge ofย structured problem-solving methodologies (A3, 5 Whys, Fishbone)ย ย 
  • Experience applyingย PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act)ย in operational environmentsย ย 
  • Understanding ofย SQDIP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity)ย performance frameworksย ย 
  • Demonstratedย ability toย lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshopsย ย 
  • Experience with Business Management Systems (BMS), including setย up,ย auditing, andย execution.ย ย

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial Base Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00
