Position Overview

A growing multi-site manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Director of HR to lead Human Resources strategy and operations across U.S. and Mexico locations. This individual will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership while driving employee engagement, organizational development, compliance, labor relations, and talent strategy across multiple manufacturing facilities.


This is a highly visible leadership role supporting operations across:

  • Georgia
  • Mexico


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute HR strategy aligned with operational and business objectives across multiple manufacturing locations
  • Provide guidance and leadership in employee relations, labor relations, organizational development, succession planning, and talent acquisition
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. and Mexico employment laws and HR regulations
  • Support plant leadership teams with workforce planning, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Drive HR process improvements, KPI development, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop an HR team
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, safety, and executive leadership teams
  • Support union and non-union manufacturing environments as applicable
  • Assist with organizational change management, training, and leadership development initiatives


Qualifications

  • Bilingual Spanish/English required
  • Strong knowledge of both U.S. and Mexico employment law
  • Prior manufacturing and plant HR leadership experience required
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multi-site operations
  • Previous supervisory/people leadership experience managing direct reports
  • Strong business partnership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced automotive or industrial manufacturing environment


Preferred Background

  • Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting operations in both the U.S. and Mexico
  • Experience with multi-site HR strategy and organizational development
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or HR certification preferred
  • Approximate travel is 30% domestically and internationally.
