Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily manufacturing and production operations within the plant
- Lead, train, and motivate production employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Monitor production schedules and ensure operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices
- Monitor staffing levels, attendance, and employee performance
- Maintain accurate production and shift reports
- Ensure compliance with automotive manufacturing standards and customer requirements
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with production scheduling, KPI tracking, and process improvement
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficient computer skills and experience with manufacturing systems preferred
- Flexible availability to support all 3 shifts as needed
Preferred Experience:
- Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 standards
- Experience managing union or non-union production teams
