Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily manufacturing and production operations within the plant
  • Lead, train, and motivate production employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards
  • Monitor production schedules and ensure operational efficiency
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams
  • Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices
  • Monitor staffing levels, attendance, and employee performance
  • Maintain accurate production and shift reports
  • Ensure compliance with automotive manufacturing standards and customer requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with production scheduling, KPI tracking, and process improvement
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with manufacturing systems preferred
  • Flexible availability to support all 3 shifts as needed

Preferred Experience:

  • Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949 standards
  • Experience managing union or non-union production teams
