Job Title:         Sr. Business Process Improvement Analyst

Client:              Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Location:         Plymouth, MN 55441


Duration:         2 Months, with possibility of extension
Shift:                1st Shift

Description:

Role Summary

This role will support the Medical Education team by analyzing and improving business processes, reporting, forecasting, data governance, and technology utilization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Salesforce, Tableau, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and document current-state business processes, workflows, reporting structures, and system utilization.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, manual workarounds, duplicate efforts, and automation opportunities.
  • Optimize Salesforce reporting, dashboards, data models, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Develop executive dashboards and KPI reporting solutions using Salesforce, Tableau, Smartsheet, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Build forecasting models for long-range planning, budgets, program schedules, and resource planning.
  • Establish reporting frameworks, governance standards, taxonomy, and nomenclature.
  • Partner with IT, Salesforce administrators, Finance, Tableau/reporting teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Lead process improvement, digital transformation, and business process redesign initiatives.
  • Develop process documentation and provide training to support adoption of new solutions.
  • Research and benchmark industry best practices.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis and measure process performance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and provide recommendations for process and performance improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Business Process Improvement, Business Analysis, Operations Excellence, or related fields.
  • Advanced experience with Salesforce reporting, administration, and process optimization.
  • Hands-on experience developing Tableau dashboards and executive reporting.
  • Strong proficiency with Smartsheet and enterprise workflow platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience developing KPI frameworks, performance metrics, and executive dashboards.
  • Experience with forecasting, financial planning, and resource planning.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with data governance, taxonomy management, reporting standards, and process documentation.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or Medical Affairs.
  • Knowledge of physician/professional education or commercial training organizations.
  • Experience with Salesforce data architecture and governance.
  • Experience with healthcare compliance, finance, and forecasting teams.
  • Experience leading digital transformation and process redesign projects.
  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CBAP, or similar certification.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams involving business stakeholders, IT, and system administrators.

Ideal Candidate

A senior Business Process Improvement / Business Analyst who can independently evaluate complex processes, identify inefficiencies, and turn business needs into scalable solutions. Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce + Tableau + Smartsheet, combined with KPI reporting, forecasting, process improvement, and data governance, is especially important.
