Job description

Twiste Desserts is looking for an experienced Dessert Chef / Kitchen Manager to join our new dessert shop in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The ideal candidate should have experience preparing desserts and managing kitchen operations. We are looking for someone who can help build and organize the dessert menu, train staff, maintain quality standards, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve crepes, waffles, mini pancakes, taiyaki, milkshakes, coffee drinks, and other desserts.
  • Maintain high food quality and presentation standards.
  • Assist in creating and improving recipes and menu items.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies when needed.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff.
  • Ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Help organize daily kitchen operations and workflow.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a dessert shop, bakery, café, or similar food service business.
  • Knowledge of crepes, waffles, pastries, and specialty desserts.
