Customer Service Coordinator (Truss Scheduler)
Play a vital role in delivering precision, partnership, and customer satisfaction
The Customer Service Coordinator (Truss Scheduler) is a key coordinator ensuring customer truss orders are produced and delivered smoothly and on time. This role sits at the heart of collaboration-working closely with Sales, Design, Production, and Customers to keep schedules accurate, resolve issues quickly, and support an exceptional customer experience.
If you enjoy staying organized, communicating across teams, and being the go to person who keeps operations running efficiently, this role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a daily impact.
What You'll Do
  • Partner closely with Account Managers, Sales Assistants, Inside Sales, Design, and Production to align customer needs with plant schedules
  • Communicate regularly with customers via email and trade portals regarding schedules, updates, and change orders
  • Download and organize design plans to support the production schedule
  • Collaborate with Sales Administration on customer pricing data entry
  • Track, compile, and share weekly truss order reports with leadership
  • Coordinate back-orders and repairs, ensuring timely resolution
  • Build and maintain positive, professional customer relationships
  • Serve as a backup for Sales Admin and Sales Assistants as needed
  • Participate in product and process training to stay current
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation as required
  • Support additional duties that contribute to team and company success

What You Bring
Knowledge & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of customer service or coordination experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Comfort using standard office equipment (computer, scanner, etc.)

Skills & Abilities
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Confident working with business math and data entry
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and leadership
  • Flexibility to work hours mandated by management
  • Ability to pass a drug test

Hourly/Salary Pay Range: $22.00-25.00 hourly dependent on experience*
*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living
Bonus/Incentive Pay: Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, and trip rate bonuses. A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
