Regional Sales Director

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Regional Sales Director. As a Regional Sales Director, you will work with RVP to continually develop, communicate, and implement the overall go to market strategy for their respective region, through continuous improvement of the sales culture and processes.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage Key Account Program
- Set Quarterly Goals for KAR relevant to seasonality and market trends
- Provide information and support for DMs to manage and support Key Accounts in their geographic area of responsibility.
- Based on the defined Go to Market strategy and the level of customer - Call on National, Strategic, and Key Account customers within the region to further develop the relationships with those customers and promote the products and services of Sunbelt Rentals while aiding in the further develop of the Key Account program.
- Responsible for cross-leveraging and communicating assigned key account opportunities to other districts and regions within Sunbelt
• Sales Support
- Work with RVP and DMs to develop and facilitate sales training initiatives.
- Work with RVP on strategies relative to sales territory coverage, rate initiatives, fleet on rent goals, etc.
- Work with DMs and PCMs on market specific sales strategies and implementation of those strategies.
- Work with DMs, PCMs and Human Resources on recruitment, selection and development of OSRs.
- Work with the Sales Support Team on creation and validation of sales territories.
- Work with RVP, DMs, and PCMs on CSR development and support.
• Operational Support
- Work with RVP on development, communication and implementation of Regional Go to Market strategies.
- Support through DMs, PCMs, and SF the fleet rent ready standard through interaction with PCMs and Shop Foreman during PC visits.
- Work with RVP and DMs to develop and implement facility appearance standards for all facilities in the region.
QUALIFICATIONS
• College Degree in Business or equivalent in experience
• 5 to 7 years of proven sales experience
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to coach, mentor and develop subordinates
• Ability to operate across all functions of the company form Senior Levels down
• Previous proven supervisory skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects
• Must be able to motivate, inspire and achieve results through others
• Proven ability to drive results in a manner that is consistent with Sunbelt values and goals.
• Extensive overnight travel is required. Must possess a valid driver's license with acceptable driving history. Must be able to lift, bend, squat, reach, crouch and kneel and be able to sit for long periods of time.
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Base Pay Range: $133,039.00 - 209,061.60
