Duration: 12 months

CTG is seeking an experienced Technical Engineer V to support enterprise cloud security initiatives for our client. This senior-level engineering role focuses on Azure Cloud Security, infrastructure architecture, policy governance, and enterprise systems support within a complex financial services environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise with Azure Permissions, Azure Policy, and enterprise cloud governance frameworks. Experience with GitLab and Microsoft Enterprise Policy as Code (EPAC) is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of secure enterprise infrastructure and cloud solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Azure Cloud Security technologies and services.
  • Develop and maintain Azure Policies, permissions structures, and governance controls.
  • Collaborate with technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and support teams to deliver scalable technical solutions.
  • Support infrastructure architecture, systems integration, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective engineering solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across project teams.
  • Participate in project estimation, budgeting, and planning initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise risk, audit, and regulatory standards.
  • Promote industry best practices, IT governance standards, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of combined higher education and/or professional experience in systems engineering, infrastructure architecture, or technical engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Security in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with Azure Permissions and Azure Policy management.
  • Advanced troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure lifecycle management, systems architecture, and IT Service Management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with GitLab and Microsoft Enterprise Policy as Code (EPAC).
  • Experience with additional cloud platforms beyond Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of server/client and virtual technologies.
  • Experience leading or supporting complex infrastructure and cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
