Job description

Are you interested in shaping how sport is viewed across the globe? Do you want to be part of a team looking to bring the fan closer to the action? DAZN is looking for a Junior Production Manager to join their Global team to continue to bring sports fans around the world some of the best action from the greatest sporting events across the globe. 
As the Junior Production Manager at DAZN, you will primarily be working with our Boxing team on the logistics of our Boxing output across the USA. This will include working across Host Broadcast, staffing, finance, and payment implementation. The role will also involve close work with the Production Manager and Head of Production, DAZN finance and Outside Broadcast teams and will ensure the successful production and delivery of all our live broadcasts. This role will assist the Production Manager to track and manage our costs and ensure that we are as cost efficient as possible. You will also be working closely with our broadcast talent team, and our third-party broadcast takers and should have previous experience in both areas. We are looking for someone that has excellent attention to detail and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products and is comfortable building budgets and callsheets. With fights taking place across the USA we are looking for a candidate that has experience of working on live sports events, and who possesses exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills to handle numerous requests from clients and internal staff. The right candidate will be confident in maintaining close relationships with internal DAZN teams across numerous departments along with external clients such as Matchroom Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions.     
Salary Range: $67,500 - $75,000

This role will be based in New York. 
As part of our recruitment process, we may use automated or AI-supported tools to assist with application review and screening. These tools are used to support, not replace, human decision-making. Final hiring decisions are always made by our hiring team.

  • Implement DAZN business systems and best practices. 
  • Work with the Production Manager to help create and implement the Production budget and payment systems for both live and non-live content.
  • Coordinate staff and freelance crew for any required onsite shoots. 
  • Manage and support all event schedules, workflows and disciplines. 
  • Organise travel and hotels for all our crew and talent at events. 
  • Work with our Host Broadcast facilities providers to ensure consistent services in each country and accurate H&S documentation and call sheets. 
  • Be onsite and comfortable to lead the PM responsibilities onsite at the production of our fights both in the USA and Europe.
  • Work with DAZN transmission and technical teams to plan for successful delivery of all matches to the DAZN and You Tube platforms. 
  • Work with DAZN Non-Live Content teams to provide support on non-live content and shoots taking place. 

  • A passion for sport, particularly Boxing, with huge drive, determination and work ethic. 
  • Good knowledge of the host broadcast processes and broadcast criteria.
  • Ability to foster relationships with clients and colleagues of all levels.
  • Confidence in being onsite at DAZN events and leading the logistical side of those events. 
  • Ability to work under pressure.
