Job description

About the Job
Are you a data-driven 'tech-head' with a genuine passion for marketing, emerging advertising solutions, and the bold, boundary-pushing world of US entertainment and culture? We're looking for a US based Campaign Manager to join our powerhouse global media team, working across some of the most exciting entertainment, consumer and lifestyle brands in the US market.
With your strategic, solutions-focused mindset and cross-platform expertise, you'll own the end-to-end delivery of media campaigns, act as a trusted soundboard for clients, and collaborate closely with our Client Director and media team with a proactive, can-do attitude. This is an awesome opportunity to join a supportive team of high-performers that are laser-focused on results but just as equally on having fun along the way.
Bolster US works across exciting entertainment properties and projects across North and South America, as such you'll need to have business-level fluency in both English and Spanish for this role.
If you have a proven track record of effectively managing campaigns and clients across paid digital and traditional media channels, plus a juicy brain to boot, then we want to hear from you!
OK, I'm sold - but what even is Bolster?
We are integrated communications specialists with an eye on culture.
Headquartered from Melbourne Australia, we're a team of 50+ passionate individuals spread across four specialist teams.
Bolster Group has devised integrated campaigns for some of the world's biggest brands including Bacardi-Martini Australia, KFC, Google, EA Games, Samsung, Warner Music, and more. We're the agency you bring in when you want to play meaningfully in music and broader culture.
At Bolster, we do loads of stuff, but 3 things really well:
  1. Consulting: We guide brands and experience makers through a challenging landscape with pointed insights and cultural understanding. Our consulting services extend across culture marketing, creative and content, media, social and community building.
  2. Branded entertainment: We devise fan-led creative solutions and storytelling that helps brands cut through.
  3. Media: We amplify brands within impactful media, ensuring our clients are in front of the right people at the right time.

Ultimately, Bolster Group is famous for connecting brands to their fans.
What You'll Be Doing
Campaign Management 85%
  • End-to-end campaign management across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, programmatic display, audio, video and digital OOH
  • Campaign strategy and channel planning
  • Liaise with clients, media publishers and platform reps, as well as internal teams across the US and AU to gather specs, tags and deliverables and execute campaigns across offline and online channels (display, native, editorial, radio, OOH, TV/BVOD)
  • Set-up conversion and pixel tracking, Google Tag Manager or other measurement tools
  • Generate, adapt and edit copy for paid channels, in collaboration with clients

  • Closely monitor, troubleshoot and optimise campaign performance, to meet client objectives
  • Escalate scope and billing requests to the client service and finance team with urgency
  • Carefully manage expectations at all times and keep clients informed via frequent updates
  • Analyse and visualise data and results to compile end of campaign reports including insights
  • Act as a soundboard for clients and share strategic thinking and recommendations
  • Maintain a delightful client service experience at every touchpoint

Admin & Training 15%
  • Attend internal team meetings including WIPs, training sessions and ad-hoc brainstorms
  • Stay in the loop with marketing trends / tech, share thought leadership with clients and peers
  • Work closely with the Media team to provide general assistance and refine our way of working
  • Contribute to training and development of junior team members
  • Represent Bolster at industry events, client meetings and agency group functions

  • Experience in Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, YouTube, DV360, TikTok Ads, Broadsign, Vistar, Google Campaign Manager 360, GA4 (not all are requisites, training will be provided)
  • Proficiency with analytics tools such as Rubii, Whatagraph, Supermetrics, Data Studio and project management software like Slack, Monday.com, Notion and Google Suite
  • Exposure to programmatic buying platforms (DSPs) or Supply Side Platforms (SSPs) desirable
  • 3+ years background in a fast-paced digital / marketing / media / advertising environment
  • Ability to communicate technical information succinctly and articulately, without ambiguity
  • Proven history of managing and building rapport with clients, colleagues and stakeholders
  • Proactive and self-motivated nature - you don't wait to be told what to do or how to do it!
  • Track record of using data to identify an insight or an opportunity to provide value
  • Genuine passion for marketing trends, tech and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • An understanding and love of music and other cultural pillars that our clients sit within
  • Brownie points for previous history with offline / traditional media including television buying

Minimum Language Requirements
  • Business-level fluency in both English and Spanish is a must-have for this role - Bolster US works across exciting entertainment properties and projects across North and South America, as such you'll need to communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders in both languages, in writing and verbally.

Our Culture
Best described by our values, which serve as the guiding principles in how we interact with our peers, partners and clients:
  • Eyes on culture. We connect our clients to culture and current affairs, immersing ourselves in the communities we serve. We know everything they need to know.
  • We turn up. In a presentation. At a launch. At an event. In a WIP. For our clients and teammates, every day.
  • We roll with the punches. We know the nature of this work is unpredictable. We do our best work when we're thrown a curveball, or dive into the deep end.
  • We keep it real. You can't fake what we do. We strip away the BS and build trusting relationships. Knowledge, transparency, authenticity - this is what we're about.
  • It's in our hands. We take responsibility, stay one step ahead, push outside our comfort zone and never phone it in. We'd rather fail trying something new than die wondering.

What You Can Expect From Us
  • Interesting, exciting, and challenging work with an enviable list of clients
  • Support, guidance, and growth including an annual learning and development budget
  • Fortnightly 'Bolster Uni' sessions featuring both internal and external speakers
  • Flexible working model with office and WFH days split 50/50
  • Free coffee, Class Pass credits and access to Masterclass online training
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services including counselling and wellbeing resources
  • Complimentary tickets to industry, music and arts events
  • Progression - recognition and reward for your efforts

We encourage candidates from diverse and / or minority backgrounds to express their interest. Our team is excited to share our experience, share our space and share the mic. We believe in creating a working environment where each individual is able to bring their full self to work and is valued for their unique contribution.
