Job description

We do Consulting Differently

The IT Project Manager position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing IT projects in support of BRG business objectives. This role is intended for a hands-on project manager with experience delivering IT initiatives through coordination, execution, and follow-through-not solely maintaining schedules or reporting status.

The IT Project Manager works closely with IT teams and internal partners to ensure technology solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with BRG standards. Projects may include new technology rollouts, office openings and relocations, team onboardings, infrastructure initiatives, security and offboarding activities. The IT Project Manager will report to IT PMO Leadership.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES - IT PROJECT MANAGER

Project Planning & Execution

  • Take primary responsibility for IT projects from initiation through implementation and operational handoff, with accountability for successful delivery.
  • Own project scoping, task definition, sequencing, and dependency tracking with guidance from IT leadership as needed.
  • Track milestones, risks, and issues; proactively address delivery challenges and escalate when appropriate to keep projects on schedule.
  • Ensure assigned projects meet agreedupon scope, schedule, and quality expectations.

Stakeholder & Team Coordination

  • Serve as the daytoday IT project contact for internal stakeholders and business teams.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and discovery discussions to understand business needs and implementation requirements.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and next steps clearly and consistently to project stakeholders.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Coordinate delivery efforts across internal IT functions including Infrastructure, Operations, Cybersecurity, Expert Solutions, and Asset Management.
  • Partner with Legal, HR, Workplace Services, and other departments to support successful project execution.
  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and external partners to support project timelines and deliverables.

Technical Implementation Support

  • Coordinate technology onboarding and implementation activities, including network readiness, hardware deployment, enduser access, and ISP coordination.
  • Provide onsite support during key onboarding, cutover, or transition events when required.

Documentation & Process Improvement

  • Maintain accurate and uptodate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support effective handoff to operations and support teams at project completion.
  • Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts within the PMO.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional or military experience.
  • 4-7 years of experience delivering and supporting IT projects across the full project lifecycle with delivery ownership.
  • Experience coordinating and driving work across multiple technical teams and stakeholders to deliver IT solutions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, cloud computing and storage, infrastructure concepts, Azure, AWS, Microsoft Security Stack, ServiceNow, Snowflake, etc.
  • Experience using project management tools, including MS Project, Monday.com, and Smartsheet.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problemsolving skills with a focus on execution and followthrough.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced, evolving environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including domestic and international travel.
  • Hands-on exposure to IT implementations

Salary Range: $120,000-$155,000

Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
