Job description

THCG is looking for a Junior Interior Designer

We offer a competitive salary and an amazing benefits package.

The Healthcare Group Company is specifically designated for interior renovations of Subacute & Skilled Nursing Healthcare. The Construction/Design division supports our facility's renovation projects. We are looking for an Advanced Junior Designer seeking an opportunity to grow with us.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Organize & maintain library and project samples

  • Schedule meetings with vendors to keep FF&E library up to date

  • Assist senior designers with project management tasks

  • Conduct research on industry FF&E specifications

  • Provide administrative support to design team

  • Develop design & millwork drawings using Auto CAD

  • Draw 3D renderings to visualize design concepts a plus

  • Participate in project meetings

  • Site walkthroughs for field verification when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Completion or working on completion of Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe, and Microsoft Office. Sketchup is a plus

  • Basic knowledge of construction details including millwork

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects

  • Great written and verbal communication and collaboration skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Physical ability to lift samples

  • Ability to interact with vendors and colleagues in a professional manner

  • Knowledge of basic building codes, regulations, and industry standards

  • A positive friendly attitude and willingness to learn 

  • Salary Range-$40k to $45k
