IT Service Technician (Tier 2) - Boca Raton, Florida

What Does a Typical Day Look Like in This Role?

As an IT Service Desk Technician Tier 2, you will work with our clients to triage, resolve, and escalate tickets. At times you will work with clients via phone call, email, or chat. You will rely on your skills to troubleshoot End User (PC and peripheral) issues, Network issues, and Server issues. You will also help clients complete requests in a variety of systems including Active Directory, Office365, and more. You can expect to be busy most of the day, but especially first thing in the morning and in the early afternoon. You’ll collaborate with your peers and team leads throughout the day to solve problems and to schedule breaks and lunches. As a senior technical team member, you will also help junior Service Desk team members make good decisions and learn how to be more effective. The goal is to end each day knowing that you’ve helped people overcome a variety of challenges and helped your team be successful!

Throughout the day, we’ll stay in touch as a team, check in with team leads, and work together to solve challenges. By the end of your shift, you’ll know you’ve helped clients navigate their tech issues and contributed to the team’s overall success.

Hybrid Schedule: You will be able to work mostly remote, but will be required to work onsite at our Boca Raton office and our client locations as needed.

Mon.-Fri. 8am - 5pm EST.

What Qualifications or Experience Do I Need?

For this role, you must have 4+ years of IT Systems Administration experience. You must show expertise with network troubleshooting, desktop support, server support, and Office365 and Entra support. Those with IT degrees, industry certifications, or MSP experience will be given preference. Beyond that, all employees must be humble, hungry, and people smart, as this serves as the foundation, we need to be able to work with you to make you successful in this role and help grow your career in Customer Service and Support or IT. Starting on day one, we’ll begin equipping you with the knowledge and skills you will need to succeed in the future.
