Working closely with operations, regulatory, finance, and technical specialists, you'll contribute to meaningful work while learning from experienced professionals across the business.

This role is primarily office-based with opportunities to visit field operations and gain firsthand exposure to well activities. In our fast-paced environment, you'll balance analytical work with cross-functional collaboration, supporting projects that help deliver safe, reliable, and efficient operational outcomes.

  • Provide technical support to the Well Operations team in well planning, well monitoring, performance analysis, and well optimization initiatives
  • Support performance improvement through operational planning, data analysis, and post-operation reviews
  • Review historical well performance data to identify optimization opportunities; assist with optimization planning, execution planning, and project management of well optimization activities
  • Assist the Project Controller in the preparation, tracking, and accuracy of well budgets, forecasts, and operational costs, including timely submission of monthly well expenditures
  • Develop and maintain accurate project cost tracking and reporting for both existing and development wells
  • Support SECUREโ€™s regulatory programs, including disposal scheme applications (D51), regulatory operational planning, compliance tracking, and regulatory submissions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date well files, operational records, and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, regulatory, and finance) to ensure alignment of well information, costs, and schedules
  • Provide general analytical and administrative support to the Well Operations team as required

  • A recent engineering degree from an accredited program
  • 2โ€“4 years of industry experience considered an asset
  • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with operations, regulatory, finance, and other cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel to field locations as required

At SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in. We are an energetic team, driven by the needs of our customers, and we care about making a meaningful contribution. We strive to attract, retain, and motivate employees by offering a competitive compensation package that recognizes employee contributions and performance.

In addition to rewarding job opportunities, we offer:

  • Competitive industry wages and compensation programs which include:
  • Employer-paid benefits: health, dental & more
  • Health Care Spending Account
  • Employee Wellness Programs
  • Employee Savings Plan
  • Career progression
  • A competitive employee referral program
  • Industry-leading safety standards
