Job description

JUNIOR COMPLIANCE AUDITOR
Hybrid
Mayfair Management Group is a full-service property management organization offering a range of services to our clients. Under our Affordable Housing umbrella, we offer unparalleled expertise of state and federally regulated affordable program rules & regulations for LIHTC, HOME, Section 8 PBRA, RAD, Section 811, Section 202, BOND, Permanent Supportive Housing, MDSI, CDBG and HUD Loans.
JUNIOR COMPLIANCE AUDITOR
As a Junior Compliance Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facets of program & state compliance within the assigned portfolio is maintained.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Reviews and returns initial rental application packets within 48 hours
  • Reviews and returns all non-income qualified file corrections within 24 hours
  • Reviews and returns all move in documentation by the 10th of every month
  • Reviews and returns all Annual Recertification files whose income exceeds the current 60% income limit within 7 days
  • Reviews and submits online reports as required by applicable state finance agency
  • Ongoing review of primary utility allowances within assigned portfolio to ensure timely & accurate implementation
  • Provides training and guidance to persons within assigned portfolio
  • Preparation and submission of file audits as requested by lenders, syndicators, owners, and state & federal government agencies

โ€ข Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Compliance.
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 2 years working with Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC)
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Accurate typing speed of 40 words per minute
  • Working knowledge of YARDI
  • Program training certification preferred, not required
