Job description

Location: Worcester, MA Salary: $55.00 USD Hourly - $68.00 USD Hourly Description: AngularJS & Java Full Stack Developer
This position focuses on building modern digital platforms that support advanced research and data-driven initiatives for our client in the biotech industry.
1+ year contract position with possibility for extensions
Remote but need to be able to go onsite in Worcester, MA 1x per month
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack solutions (AngularJS, Java, JavaScript, SQL/Oracle)
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and data/ETL workflows
  • Write clean, well-documented, production-quality code aligned with best practices
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across requirements, development, testing, and deployment
  • Support continuous improvement and adhere to SDLC standards

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full stack development experience (AngularJS + Java ecosystem)
  • Strong grasp of software engineering principles and system lifecycle management
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs and integrations
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Experience with bioinformatics/cheminformatics or TDD (Karma/Jasmine) is a plus
