Job description

IVR/UAT Tester

This is a 12-month contract to hire project.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for primarily manual and user acceptance testing within the IVR Team
  • Developing and executing manual regression and functional tests for IVR modules surrounding the cloud migration of CSaaS solution.
  • Performing deep UAT test planning, test case design, and test execution for IVR Modules
  • Might be involved in the procurement and management of test data sets (including test phone numbers, scripts, accounts, etc.) but much of this is already in place.
  • Working closely with Business Analyst to gather and document requirements, responsible for communication of status to Engineering teams and leadership.
  • Partnering with Kavitha's team and test automation engineers for escalations
  • Documentation of test results, collaboration within QA team and Engineering team to resolve and 'bubble up'
  • Should be an individual contributor, self-starter, strong communicator
  • Not a deal-breaker if someone does not come from an IVR/Contact Center environment, but should prioritize these candidates-they have had issues in the past with the learning curve with testers who do not have this background. Very nice to have with experience in NICE InContact and/or Genesys.
  • Test case documentation and outputs largely recorded in Excel at this point.

Must have:

  • Background in Manual and User Acceptance Testing
  • Experienced in UAT test planning, test case design, and documentation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with PMO (Business Analysts) around gathering requirements and status updates
  • IVR/Contact Center Experience
  • Any experience in/exposure to test automation scripting
