Job description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Educator / IVF Coordinator (RN) If you are committed to growth in a welcoming work environment, this may be a great fit for you. We seek to fill this role with a nurse who will provide excellent and compassionate clinical patient care based upon the nursing process; being effectively involved with maintaining the standard of care for assigned patients through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
What you'll be doing:
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement onboarding and orientation programs for new clinical employees.
  • Create standardized competency-based training plans for PCC's, IVF Coordinators and other clinical staff.
  • Evaluate clinical competencies through observation, skills validation, and documentation.
  • Develop educational materials, competency checklists, workflow guides, and clinical reference resources.
  • Coordinate ongoing continuing education and annual competency assessments.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to clinical staff.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to identify educational needs and implement improvement plans.
  • Assist with cross-training initiatives to improve staffing flexibility and operational stability.
  • Ensure staff education aligns with evidence-based practice, physician preferences, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Participate in clinical workflow improvement projects and implementation of new technology and clinical processes.
  • Support and lead new technology tools to ensure staff are fully trained on clinical workflows

Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a clinical resource and subject matter expert for physicians and staff.
  • Promote a collaborative, patient-centered culture focused on teamwork and accountability.
  • Support employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
  • Assist leadership with clinical process improvement and standardization initiatives.
  • Participate in committee meetings, policy development, and special projects.
  • Develop, maintain and communicate clinical staffing schedules in collaboration with the Director of Nursing
  • Serve as primary point of contact for staff call-outs; coordinate coverage and adjust schedules as needed to ensure safe, continuous patient care.
  • Act as the on-site clinical lead, providing day-to-day guidance and support to clinical staff while escalating issues to the Director of Nursing as appropriate.

IVF Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all aspects of the patient's IVF treatment cycle from initial consultation through pregnancy testing and follow-up.
  • Educate patients regarding fertility treatment plans, medications, procedures, timelines, and expectations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned patients, providing timely communication and compassionate support.
  • Coordinate physician orders, laboratory testing, imaging, medication instructions, and treatment scheduling.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment changes under physician direction.
  • Collaborate with physicians, embryology, andrology, business office, surgery center, and satellite locations to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately within the electronic medical record.
  • Ensure compliance with practice protocols, regulatory standards, and patient confidentiality.
  • Assist with prior authorizations, medication coordination, and specialty pharmacy communication as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives designed to improve patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.

Education and/or Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program. Equivalent clinical experience in reproductive medicine may be considered based on organizational needs.
  • Minimum of three years of reproductive endocrinology/fertility clinical experience preferred.
  • Previous IVF Coordinator experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience training, mentoring, or educating clinical staff preferred.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/eIVF) preferred.
